Boy, 8, 'starved to death' by grandma in Bijnor

Police have detained the father of an eight-year-old boy who allegedly died due to starvation in the Kotwali region of Bijnor on Tuesday night. According to police, Arif had married Shama Parveen 12 years ago, but owing to domestic strife, his family had thrown her out of the house four years back.
