Nitin Desai’s mortal remains brought to ND studios for last rites

Nitin Chandrakant Desai died by suicide at his studio in Karjat in the wee hours of August 2. He left behind no suicide note, but a video recording. Nitin Desai had worked on several popular Bollywood films like 'Lagaan', 'Devdas' and 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. In recent times, he was facing a lot of financial stress.
