Celebrated filmmaker Syed Salahuddin Zaki passes away at 77

Renowned filmmaker Syed Salahuddin Zaki passed away at 77 in Dhaka on Monday. Known for his debut film 'Ghuddi' and other works like 'Lal Banarasi' and 'Ayna Bibir Pala,' Zaki was a multifaceted talent also involved in screenwriting and dialogue writing. He had recently completed two films but faced age-related health issues. Zaki's influence extended beyond cinema; he also served as the Director General of Bangladesh Television. His burial plans await the return of his children from Canada.
