Double murder case: Life term to former RJD MP Prabhunath Singh

The Supreme Court on Friday awarded life imprisonment to former MP and RJD politician Prabhunath Singh in a 1995 double murder case. The case pertains to the killing of two men on the day of polling for assembly elections in Chapra in Bihar's Saran district in March 1995. The apex court also directed Singh and the Bihar government to compensate the victims in the case.
