Overweight bags? Be alert of airport thieves in Delhi

A theft racket involving airport loaders has been uncovered at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. A woman traveling from Melbourne to Punjab had her gold ornaments stolen while her bag was being adjusted by a loader. Six loaders from Air India and Vistara airlines have been arrested, with another person being the receiver of the stolen items. The role of senior airport officials is also under investigation. The police have recovered stolen jewelry, luxury watches, electronic devices, and currency from the arrested individuals. The airlines involved are cooperating with the investigation.
