Indian Air Force’s mighty ‘tuskers’ turn 75

The No. 5 squadron of the Indian Air Force, known as "Tuskers", celebrates its platinum jubilee at the Ambala air force station. Equipped with B-24 "Liberator" heavy bomber aircraft, the Tuskers came into force in November 1948. The squadron was awarded the President's Colours in April 1975, becoming the first IAF bomber unit to achieve such a feat.
