Bharat Dal: This govt initiative becomes best selling pulse brand

The government has launched 'Bharat Rice' for retail sales, allocating 5 LMT of rice under the brand. Managed by NAFED, NCCF, and Kendriya Bhandar, it is available at Rs 29 per kg in 5 kg and 10 kg bags. Mobile vans and physical outlets will sell it, with efforts to expand availability through retail chains and e-commerce platforms.
