Rajasthan has experienced its highest monsoon rainfall in nearly five decades, recording an average of 668.5mm from June 1 to September 14, surpassing the previous record set in 1975. Districts such as Dausa and Sawai Madhopur have received over 1,000mm of rain. Major dams are near capacity and releasing excess water.
